big day

Well I have been very busy working on my very first research essay for my history/english class. It has caused me much stress and I cannot wait till I am able to hand it in.
I am almost done, and it is very late. I still have to do my works cited page and an annotated bibliography. If I do not get a good grade, thats ok, because we have the opportunity to go back and revise. We shall see. I will probably not even know how I did for another couple of weeks.
I had to go to the docs today and get a script. Im not handling stress very well.
Now I am an official wt mom on prozac.
Its sorta funny but not.
Lets just see how I do on the meds.
I hate taking them, but I see no other way at this point. I can not live my life sedated on xanax forever!

They found WHAT in a ceiling!!!!!

Good Grief.. I could not even think about having one of these in my house!

REXBURG, Idaho(AP) Bessy the Burmese python is recovering in an animal shelter after spending two weeks dodging searchers and an infrared camera in a 57,000-square-foot apartment complex in this southeastern Idaho town.
The 8-foot-snake's hiding spot was found Tuesday by another "snake" _ a 100-foot-long device with a camera on the end normally used to locate plumbing problems in hard-to-reach places.
"It's the most interesting plumbing job I've had so far," said Kip Salas of Advanced Plumbing, who discovered Bessy in the bathroom ceiling after a three-hour search of the apartment below the unit from which she escaped.
"I'm just glad she's alive and not hurt too badly," Chelsea Stanford, the python's owner, told the Post Register.
After finding the snake, Stanford and animal control officers tried to lure her out with a white rat snack without success. So they lassoed Bessy with a steel collar and dragged her from the hole in the ceiling. Bessy received some scratches during her ordeal _ and an eviction notice.
"We're going to let it eat, then it's leaving the building forever," said Kevin Kennedy, the apartment owner, who wanted the snake out of the complex dead or alive.
Burmese pythons are native to Southeast Asia and some islands in the East Indies. They can grow to 20 feet, weigh up to 200 pounds, and live about 25 years. Not venomous, pythons wrap their bodies around small animals to suffocate them before eating them whole.
Bessy went missing two weeks ago after apparently escaping through a hole in a bathroom wall. Stanford put up notices around the complex about the missing python, which caused some residents to refuse to spend the night in their apartments.
"We weren't too nervous but we'll definitely sleep better," said resident Ben Brown after Bessy's capture. "As long as there aren't any rattling noises in the walls."

pink slip

It was a proud day in the P. Household yesterday. Lil AJ got his very first pink slip on the bus. I guess he was 'getting a little hyper' at least that is what he told me. One of his partners in crime and he were messin around and the other child got hurt. Bumped his head or something. Went into hysterics, the bus driver had to turn around and go back to school. great. anyway, he got in trouble. I made him write apology notes to the bus driver, the principal, the boy, and his mom.
We just happen to be friends and neighbors.
I threatend him with making him sit with the kindergarteners at the front, that freaked him out. He has to go see the principal all by himself tomorrow. poor little fella, I can just see him having to sit outside the office all by himself.
Well better get use to it buddy. That or we will be visiting him in cell block #3 someday.
I never got a pink slip, but John did, he climed out of a bus window one time. That just does not suprize me.
I wonder how many kids get pink slips (elementary age), AJ is only in the 1st grade, what next?

The Drill

I had to go to the dentist today. I had braces a few years ago, and never ever had a cavity. Therefore I had no fear untill the time when my wisdom teeth had to come out. Now, most people get to go to sleep for that, but my dentist, (also my uncle) does not put people out. He is quite extraordinary in the fact he pulls lots of teeth. He goes to other countries and pulls teeth for missionary work. He is very good at what it does. Anyway, he is a pro at pulling teeth.
However, when it was my turn, I guess the injection they give had epinephrine (sp?) and it made me start shaking, plus the tooth did not want to break loose.
For those who have not had a tooth pulled while awake, the take a tool and 'pop' your tooth loose then he takes the pliers (im sure there is a dental term for the scary plier tool) and pulls the tooth. I was told, "they just roll right out"
Yea right. Roll out my a**.
It was so tramatic for me. I was all shaking and crying and he concluded that he was not even going to attempt the other side.
He sent me someplace else and I got put out for that one
So I went to the dentist today and had my first ever cavity filled and again the drug made me shake and I cried. What a big baby!
I still have to go back for 2 more.
They tell me the cavities are tiny and only the surface only blah blah.
Im not looking forward to this.
I hope I can be pathetic enough to warrant a shopping trip from my Hubby.
My advice, always, if possible, get knocked out.
And ask for pain killers.
My jaw hurt so bad today when the numbness wore off. But my dentist rarely prescribes meds for pain.
You know Ill be taking the max dosage of ibuprofen tonite!

Much Better

Playtime

My dollhouse is almost completed, well for this time anyway. I am always finding an excuse to redecorate. That is the whole fun of it. I still need to install some final trim and the doors, but that will have to wait untill I can get out to Kansas to go to Mini Temptations. There is another place that sells it, but Im not sure the name or where it is.
The house has been furnished with lots of pre-made items, however, i did make a few things, like the sofa and chair, the curio cabinet in the bathroom, all the curtains and the bedding for the bed. I stained and painted the night table, and made the quilt behind the sofa.
When my MiMi died, I inherited all of her dollhouse furnishings and miniature accessories. I also inherited her GIANT unfinished victorian dollhouse, which after 3 other remodels, including Ems, I hope to complete. It will be my tribute to My Beloved MiMi.

I just know we will have winter eventually. I dont think that there has been one day under 50 degrees this January, which is not good...
Bugs Big Bugs If the ground does not freeze for a certain amount of time, then there will be tons of bugs this summer.. especially fleas
