My mess of irrational thoughts

I hate walmart

Today was just another day. I stayed home and slept. I should have gotten up and went to church. I always do so I do have somewhat a bit of guilt for not giving back to God when he gives me so much. I couldnt help it though, I was so tired, I could not have stayed awake even if I had gone. Since school starts this week, I am going to have to start going to bed earlier.
Working on my dollhouse has just been so time consuming I loose all track of time at night.
It is so much fun *note to self be sure and post a picture*
John did go and get the kids from Nana and he really likes going too.
We were going to MaMa Patty's for our Christmas dinner (yes I know it is January gotta love our family) But my sister had something else to do.
Anyway we just ended up going grocery shopping. BORING especially we had to go to walmart.

OK here it goes. I HATE walmart. I call it the pit of Hell. I only go like maybe once or twice every 6 months or so. Usually I shop at Hy-Vee. Em had to return a polly pocket toy so that is where we had to go.
I am convinced that going to walmart sucks part of your soul and then distributes large amounts of cellulite in your butt. Like every other person had the biggest butt all jigglie and stuff. I dont want to be like that, so I will avoid walmart when at all possble. Also the lines to check out are terrible, Target has much better cashiers. And the worst are the rude people that tend to flock to walmart in their rude people numbers. Like the big fat lady who had her cart parked right in the middle of the aisle and was bending over not letting anybody through, and when I went to move her cart, she got mad. OOPS silly me
Now I have nothing against rude, slow, fat or even stupid people, just those at walmart.
I HATE walmart
Still it was the most exciting part of my day, now how sad is that?
I hope that tomorrow is a productive day, I think I will try to go to bed early, an antihistimine might work.

Be careful, the mean people from Dan Crall's blog will spam you with all their hateful anti-walmart crap.

I'm actually not totally a fan of walmart. I prefer Target as well. But my mom is a walmart loyalist, so I'm not anti-walmart. But generally when I shop on my own, I go to target, or sometimes to Price Chopper or someplace like that.

Have you heard about the anti-walmart documentary? Now I think that's a load of crap. Walmart found a business plan that worked, and suddenly they're taking heat because they found a business plan that worked. Gimme a break.

Bad news...
I found out from my site meter that Crall's been on your blog tonight. Sorry about that.

Are you familiar enough with code to mess with your blog some? I have fun with that. There are several sites that you can download free templates from, also.

Why don't we get together this week? My house is a *tad* messy (that's what happens when Mom is sick!), but you and Em could come over, and Em could play with Miami while you and I play with code. Call me - you have my cell phone number. Or I will email it to you just in case.

*Sigh* of course that's assuming my mom doesn't have whooping cough.

See the film, Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Prices.

Great documentary. I await the day that Wal Marts are boarded up as family businesses are up and running again.

Your friend Toilet Bowl (who is very paranoid of me...she should lay off the narcotics) refuses to even learn what the whole thing is about. Close-mindedness is her mantra.

The only way anyone from my "hateful site" would come is thru TB leaving comments asking people to read her posts. But don't worry... we're a friendly bunch. TB has just said some really mean things to people there and alienated some.

TB...you should really consider how sick it is that you are monitoring the activity of other people's blogs.

One more thought... when I commented about Wal MArt, that was the FIRST time I've been here. TB's comment from over 2 HRS ago says I was here earlier. Wow, you can't trust her with anything. She is sick.

Told you he would come here.

Sorry about that. I know how often I wish they would just leave me alone. They claim I go to Crall's blog just to get traffic for my blog - so not true - talk about putting words into my mouth. People on his blog are really good about that.

Anyway, call me this week.

that hilarious about the butt thing...
I shop at walmart. I get bashed all the time for it. Union people dont like me very much... nor do a lot of democrats. To me them bashing me so hard about this issue just shows how immature they are. You dont see me walking around bashing them all day long because they want to impeach Bush or have different beliefs than me. :-)
People are free to shop where they want. Its their choice. let them have their own convictions. If you feel bad about shopping at walmart.... or just dont like the hassle of it all. So be it.
But other people shouldnt insult walmart shoppers just because of those beliefs.

*Not saying you were, im referring to other walmart haters lol*

I do love target though better than walmart. We use to have a great super target near our apartment in NC... but since we moved to Ohio there isnt a target around for 50 miles. So ... walmart it is.

They are building a target 20 miles from us. I will be so happy when that opens! :-)

Any who! Thats my thoughts for the day hehe.

oh whoa! Dan Crall is visiting ;-)
He has a cute dog and pretty wife. He can be nice when he wants to be... but you do have to becareful. Dont go to his site and try saying to much. If it isnt what they like to hear they throw childish insults at you and leave terrible comments on your blog.
Ive gotten comments with F this and F that on post I make about my son from people off his site.

That resulting in me having to turn on comment moderation... I cant have my students or kids reading that junk.

But yes... Dan... since he will most likely read this. Nice guy [in his own ways]... just warning you... dont let him get to you.

Drea, believe it or not you hit the nail on the head with Walmart. I studied economics for awhile in college, and essentially Walmart has just done what is economically sound - like I said, they found a business plan that worked. It's such a shame to see them taking so much heat for just doing what works. Economically, if people don't like Walmart, the most damaging thing they can do is to not shop at Walmart. It's been historically proven that actions such as creating a movie about how bad it is will have a negligible effect. The place with the business plan that works will be successful. If, indeed, Walmart is causing harm to their employees or whatever, then they will be driven out of business by a lack of business.

Drea pretty much hit the nail on the head with Dan. He's a nice guy but he can be touchy sometimes. And he has the sweetest looking dog.

Dan does not scare me, I have faced the Muffia and survived!!!
If I could shop at walmart at 1:00 in the morning I would. I would shop there all the time if it was less crowded and shorter lines.
I dont have a problem with their products or store, just the service and sometimes patrons.
I know that when a walmart goes in, a lot of the smaller stores get run out of business, however, if it was not walmart, it would be another store.

When I lived in warrensburg I used to shop at walmart in the middle of the night all the time...
I never told my parents about it!
But I found out that if you went to walmart AFTER midnight, it was not bad at all.
Warrensburg would have been incredibly boring if not for Walmart. But I'm glad that Walmart was there, because there were no other mom/pop shops for us to shop at. There was only one other pharmacy in town, only one other place to buy clothes, and only one other office supply store. Frankly, Walmart was a necessary entertainment for us.

Princessa, I think you're absolutely right, if Walmart hadn't driven those stores out of business, someone else would. Ex. if Walmart had never existed, Office Depot and Office Max would still have pushed all the mom/pop office supply stores out of business.

Drea's really awesome. Her baby's really cute and her hubby's not bad either.

At 12:12 PM, Blogger crallspace said...

PrincessA, at least you are on the right track and have thought about it... But, really... Wal MArt is an awful store, and the only people who shop there (especially when they know the truth) are people who think that consequences don't exist. tb and drea don't like to think about anything that would inconvenience them... at least that's Drea's case, and she proves to be very uneducated about most things.
TB, on the other hand (as you probably know, and I do pity you... I can't imagine having to put up with her), doesn't care about human life. Her mission is to destroy everything that doesn't suit her narrow worldview, so she goes to great lengths to trash organic food, and talk up places like Wal Mart. IT's really sad, and my heart aches for the children she is sabataging. Most will grow up and laugh about her, but some will really be damaged.

And, if TB didn't come around to my site for extra traffic, I don't know why she'd leave several links to certain posts. She's done it at least 3 times.

Miss Tye D Bowl is my friend, I have known her and her family for sometime now. When my daughter got very ill and was hospitalized for 3 weeks, she took time and tutored her in math so she could continue to the next grade. I thought this was very unselfish considering that she was a full time student in a different town. Now I am much older (forever
29) and even young people, including you are entitled to their opinions. whether I agree or not.
I am not doing this blog to be intelligent, or political, or to impose my religious beliefs on any person.
I have to deal with such things in everyday life, just like everyone else. Facing moral delimmas is part of everyone's everyday life, and it is just not what Im going to do here. My blog is just to write simply my thoughts and how I feel about mundane everyday life.
I do enjoy reading comments, and if I did not, I would just write everything in a journal that would be kept stashed beside my bed.
If I do have and opinion about such things as education or childrearing, ( they are my kids and I warp them as I see necessary. We paid for them and own them outright ) even organic food, be assured that it is my opinion only, and hopefully some would find my off the wall, irrational thoughts amusing.
Like there is a place for all of God's creatures, right between the potatoes and bread.
Please don't take me as a serious person here, that is not my intentions.
It does not mean that I am uneducated non-polital, or even anti-enviromental, just that I will not be discussing such things seriously here.

See I hear that so much... people like Andrea or Tidy who THINK they know the truth about Walmart yet still shop there. What is the truth. A bunch of liberal crap people are saying? That is one side of the story. Some truth may be in it but not all of it is truth.

Liberals and other union people are just upset because Walmart did do something thats working. They are using the "china sweatshops" and "bad employee benefits and pay" as a form of plublicity. Oh dont shop at walmart they sell china child sweatshop products. So does every store around me. Its not just walmart.
Ohhh walmart pays their employees terribly and treats them bad. Whos choice is it to work there. okay thank you.

Walmart is great for the consumer. It might not be the greatest for smaller companies with higher prices. But thats how the economy is working.

People tell me all the time "Oh walmarts gonna shut down everything around them and then raise their prices." As long as there is competition and other companies are going against walmart (such as target, kroger, meijer, etc..) then theres no worry with walmart "taking over."

If walmart did take over it wouldnt be long until another company rolled around and did the exact same thing.

And Dan thank you for proving my point about not going to your site and trying to voice an opinion.
Saying I am wrong right off the bat. That is your opinion. Not the whole worlds and def. not mine or my husbands.

If you have a problem with walmart, dont shop there. Good for you. I dont think any less of you because you hate it.
That is your own personal choice. I am free to make my own as well. So you should have respect for others and not bad talk them so badly just because they aren't like you. You call my husband judgemental but look at what you do each and every time a CHRISTIAN voices their opinion about something. *seems like you are good at slamming Christians quicker than anyone else*.

And as far as me shopping at walmart because of "convenience" actually its quite the opposite.
Walmart is located 20 miles from us. It be MORE "convenient" for me to shop at the local grocery store and Paminda store to buy things because they are only 2 miles from us.

The difference is I will spend twice as much. Dont think so... your wrong I've done my math SEVERAL times. (and no gas money to get to walmart 20 miles away isnt so much that it will make the trip not worth it)

So I dont do it so I'm not "inconvenience". I do it because I would rather save the extra 40 dollars I'd spend at the local store and put it towards bills we have.

Oh Princessa :-) nice 2 meet you 2, :-)

At 9:24 AM, Blogger crallspace said...

Princess... you're alright in my book.

Drea, quit calling the facts "liberal crap." The accusations of sweatshops, violating worker's rights, etc. are all true. You are so self-centered it ain't funny, and the only way you will think about an issue- if it directly affects you. Who cares about the oppression of others? (read MATT 25:19) Your assumptions are based on the simplest of thought, and to call yourself thoughtful, or an embodiment of Christian values would be a joke.

I am quick to bust hypocrites, not true Christians. You are the ones who put Christ to shame. You are the reason that people will continue to reject the Divine. Nobody wants to identify with unsymapathetic, selfish, mean-spirited, judgmental baboons.

Just as today's Republican party does not represent patriotism or American values, most churchies (and the loud-mouth religious right) do not represent Christ.

You are more wrapped up in yourself than anything else.

The Truth About "Sweatshops":
Dan, I've been to China and southeast Asia twice. My sister lived there for three years. And here's the truth about the factories that we Americans so callously call "sweatshops".

Working conditions in nearly all of those factories are not nearly as bad as they are portrayed. In fact, in many factories they are downright pleasant. Furthermore, without the existance of these factories, there would be no alternative form of employment in the cities where they are located. In other words, without these factories, the citizens of those cities would starve. STARVE, because they have no way to earn money to buy food.

Dan, if you want us to quit calling the facts liberal crap, tell us what the facts are. And give us unbiased sources, not partisan sources.

I find it extraordinarily odd that you don't have a problem with Princessa, but you do have a problem with me, considering that she and I are friends and are extraordinarily alike.

Dan, dont go quote scripture to me. You realize Satan himself quoted scripture to Jesus in the wilderness right (its in the gospels check it out). The demons themselve know it.

Dan if you read your Bible and listened to what God had to say through it you wouldnt say half the junk you say to people.

You wouldnt speak with such filthy language if you really wanted to honor Christ.
You say you dont say GD. You've told me that. Why say F*** or S*** why call people names? Saying those things is just as bad you realize that dont you.
Of course you do because you read scripture.

And I havent said anything in these last few comments to belittle you.
I am not being a judgemental person saying what I've said.

You think I am because you might actually have some convition there.
Why am I even bothering this it dont do any good saying this to you. Guess because deep down I really hope you see the Truth some day.

Its like all you hear is "ahhh wamp wamp wamp wamp" just like in Charlie Brown.

Until your ready to listen to God your going to continue to think badly about me because my lifestyle convicts you!

I am a very unselfish person. I am not self-centered. And I can say that with a confident happy smile on my face because I am the person I am today because of what Christ has done in my life. I surrendered my life to Christ when I was 15 and ever since then Ive tried harder and harder to grow closer to him and to give every bit of my life to Him.
Thats why my husband and I moved 12 hours away from home and turned down a 40K position 10 miles from my parents house. Because we were willing to answer the call and we were willing to surrender to self and follow Christ to where he wanted us.

I do not put Him to shame. You are....
and the worst part of it all is that you've heard the truth but you just continue to reject it.

Life is short Dan.
Your not going to live forever.
People always tell us in the ministry... "I just dont want that right now." A week later they get hit by a car. To bad they didnt want it... cause now they will never have it.

God wont leave the door open forever.

We knew a guy who got saved a lot later in life. In his late 30's. He was so onfire for Christ. He was just amazed that he hadnt seen things sooner.
After he got saved he started telling everyone about what God did in his life. How he was a better person.
And what a great gift God had promised him.
One of the people he told was his best friend... and this guy looked at him and just plainly said

"You know... I just dont want that. Im sort of involved with this girl right now.. and I know if I accepted that life I couldnt do the things Im doing with her now."

The guy who was saved just couldnt believe this friend of his made the choice to have this GIRL and his sinful lifestyle over God.

A few weeks later this man got in an accident and lost both legs. He later on got a tumor or some sort and died.
I wonder if that sexual partner of him stuck around for him then. When he was crippled and dying.
She sure didnt.
And he died alone and without Christ....

God opened the door for him and he rejected him.
He doesnt wait forever.

"Not all who cry Lord Lord to me shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven." - Matthew 7:21

There is some scripture for you.
Dan this isnt judgemental this is nothing but pure BIBLICAL TRUTH.

I do not say this out of a spiteful attitude but out of real concern for your soul.

Continue to think I am a hypocrite and a judgemental immature stupid girl.
But how blind you really are....

God really does love you. Hes given your a beautiful woman who loves the Lord... try opening your eyes and seeing what Christ has done in her life...

You remind me a lot of my brother. He is rejecting Christ just like you. Wants nothing to do with it. He grew up in a church just like I did. Stopped going when he was 12 just like I did.

You look at his life and look at mine... and its just as clear as day the work God did in my life.

My brother is a very unhappy 24 year old... no friends... no spouse... a bad job... and very lonely...

he doesnt talk to many people... but he has told my grandmother in Delaware how proud he is of his Sister... and how he looks up to me. He knows theres something different in my life... he is just not willing to accept it.

any ways Ive typed way to much. Bye.

Dan, you should listen to Drea. She speaks the truth.

He said to them, "Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don't you put it on its stand? For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear."
"Consider carefully what you hear," he continued. "With the measure you use, it will be measured to you—and even more. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him."
~Mark 4:21-25

Jesus asked them... "Do you still not see or understand? Are your hearts hardened? Do you have eyes but fail to see, and ears but fail to hear? And don't you remember?... He said to them, "Do you still not understand?"
~Mark 8:17-18,21

Princess Drea,
Your lifestyle convicts me? Is that what someone at church told you? Pretty lame. I give you a hard time becasue you are CLUELESS. Your whole life is based around false assumptions and ideas that YOU made up. You walk in darkness and try to convince everyone that God directs your path. I see right thru it. No conviction there.

And you quote scripture nonstop... don't get pissy when I return the favor. Again, you use the Bible when convenient for you.

I am not like your loser of a brother either. You don't know me or what my life is like, so cut that crap.

As for all the other boring experiences you wrote about, I don't care to read them. That's your life... not mine. 2 very different things.
You know what would make me happy? If you would leave me and my wife alone and find some new friends.

Toilet Bowl, I'm not even going to read anything you typed. All pain pill-induced nonsense, and that's why I delete most of your comments.

PrincessA, I was wondering your opinion on this.

I have asked TB not to comment at my blog, at least 4 times today. She continues to come back and post the same comment over and over.

Is that trouble-making?

Dan,
Your wife is a grown woman if she doesnt want me speaking to her she can tell me herself.

As far as being clueless your the one who is.
I dont make up this CRAP. You just think I do because you think I dont know a thing about the world. You are the assumption maker because thats exactly what your doing.

As far as my brother. Yes he is a loser and I love him no matter what.
I didnt say he was like you. The only thing he has in common with you is that you are both lost.

At 6:40 PM, Blogger Drea said...

and if you arent lost. Only God really knows. You are obviously not living right. And Im not the only one who thinks that. Im not referring to TB either.

Dan, Drea's right. She didn't make this up. I didn't make this up. If you really and truly had an open mind, you would realize that history has proven us to be true.

When you litter your "quit commenting" requests with curse words or disrespect, I tend to pay them little regard. Also you continue to discuss me. If you're going to talk about me I have a right to be a part of that conversation. If you learned to treat people with respect, you might discover that more people would return the favor.

Drea's brother is just like my cousin. Lost. My cousin is also a loser, but I will love her no matter what. And you know what? It's never to late to be "found".
